Before the RIT vs Clarkson men's basketball game on Saturday, February 3rd, Pershing Rifles cadets Bouma-Hannam (most left), Boos (third from right), and Bourns (most right) presented our nation's and the Army's colors alongside Air Force detachment 538.
Being a part of a color guard team offers ROTC cadets a multitude of benefits. It instills discipline, develops leadership skills, enhances teamwork, fosters patriotism, provides public engagement opportunities, and prepares them for military service. The value of presenting our nation's colors goes beyond the surface; it shapes the character and future of these cadets, molding them into exceptional leaders who will serve our country with honor and integrity.
